Project Brief

Everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide. No matter what that role is, LivingWorks provides training programs to prepare individuals, organizations, and communities to make a difference. In order to better illustrate this concept, I designed a responsive infographic experience that guides users through the different roles everyday people play in suicide prevention and the training associated with these roles.Additionally, I was responsible for designing the onboarding experience for the LivingWorks app, which is shown below.

Exploring the "Community Model."

The infographic focuses on the four main roles of suicide prevention and the importance of each role. It guides users through the associated training courses, the time commitments required, and additional information such as community goals.

App Onboarding

Intuitive intervention planning.

The LivingWorks app's onboarding focuses on a "seeker," someone needing intervention. Users, with seeker consent, answer questions to create a prevention plan, including to-dos, resources, notes, and action items.

Results

In the initial six months, over 180,000 individuals acquired suicide prevention skills via the new online training.
